1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. It is fairly submitted at the Bar that there is no record of past criminal antecedent against the petitioner.

3. The injury report produced by learned Counsel for the State is suggestive of simple injuries on the person of the victim.

4. Charge-sheet is stated to have been filed in the meantime.

5. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner and completion of investigation, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur in Connection with Kolaghat Police Station Case No. 039 dated 24.01.2023 within 15 days from today. On his appearance and application for bail he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.
