It is submitted by the petitioner that during pendency of the writ petition, the police authorities had registered Kaliachak Police Station Case No.125 of 2019 under Sections 341/323/325/427/34 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act and the charge-sheet has been filed. It is also submitted that on the further complaint of the petitioner, Kaliachak Police Station Case No.588 of 2019 was registered, which also ended with the filing of the charge-sheet. With regard to the third complaint, the police authorities did not find any cognizable offence and as such, prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was submitted against the offending parties. Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. This Court has not expressed any view on the merits of the investigation.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
