Superintendent of Police, Hooghly Rural Police District filed a report dated 09.04.2024 stated that the petitioner No.2 i.e. Kamala Kanta Ghosh had expired on 30.05.2023 supported by a copy of the death certificate.
The report further stated that the notice was served upon the remaining petitioners. Let the said report be kept on record.
The learned advocate for the petitioners further submits that the instant revisional application has become infructuous since the trial has commenced in connection with G.R. Case No. 743 of 2010 pending before the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore. More-over two of the prosecution witnesses have already been examined. Under such circumstances, the instant revisional application has become infructuous and accordingly disposed of.
The personal appearance of the petitioner Nos. 1,3,4 and 5 are noted and dispensed with.
