Learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim as also the statement of the injured recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 3124 of 2022 is dismissed.
