Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for electricity connection to operate his submersible pump, which has not been given by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), necessitating the filing of the present writ petition. 3.

Learned counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that the said Licensee could not give such connection due to ongoing cultivation and requires three weeks' time to give such connection to the petitioner.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 14433 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to give

electricity connection, as applied for by the petitioner, within three weeks from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
