The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the Behala Police Station in taking cognizance of a complaint dated March 1, 2023.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner has effective alternative remedies under the provisions of Section 156(3) of the Cr. P.C. He may avail such remedies in accordance with law. 3.

Learned counsel for the State submits that there is also a notice under Section 13(4) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002. The petitioner may avail such remedies, inter alia, under Section 17 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 against such notice since the same pertains to a secured asset which is the flat being occupied by the petitioner and his family members.

The instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
