Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner claims that the crops which were cultivated in his land were destroyed at the behest of the private respondents. To that effect, he informed the police station and in spite of the police authorities receiving the information, they did not take any proper steps.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submits that the land which is claimed by the petitioner where the crops have been sown do not belong to the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the petitioner and the private respondents are at

loggerhead in respect of the land-in-issue and the petitioner's wife along with the private respondents are co-owners in respect of the said land.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities cannot act without any direction by the appropriate authority or a court of law, I direct the police authorities would only restrict themselves by overseeing that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13260 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
