Haider Ali Sekh v. State Of West Bengal & ORS.
28.01.2022 ns Ct.16 W.P.A No. 10149 of 2009 Haider Ali Sekh Vs.
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
None appears for the petitioner either physically or through virtual mode at the time of call. No accommodation has been prayed for either.
This is a writ petition of the year 2009 praying for mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary steps for protection of the life and property of the petitioner and also to allow the petitioner to stay at his own house along with his family members. An interim order directing the respondent authorities including the 4th respondent not to raise any obstruction to reside or live in the premises in question by the petitioner was also prayed for.
When the writ petition was moved on 25th August, 2009, the prayer for interim order was refused. Order sheet reflects that the petitioner is not interested to move the instant writ petition and it also appears that nothing survives to be decided in the instant writ petition.
Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands dismissed for default.
