Dutta Mr. Subham Dutta .. for the Private Respondent(s) Re The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the Officer-incharge of Khejuri Police Station, no steps were taken in respect of the alleged commission of murder of her husband.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that Khejuri P.S. Case No. 344 of 2025 dated 23.06.2025 under Sections 103(1)/61(2) of the BNS has already been registered.

Learned advocate for the private respondent(s) submits that earlier a complaint was lodged at the behest of the private respondents.

In view of the steps taken by the police authorities on the basis of the information furnished by the present petitioner, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities would take steps in accordance with law as also take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13245 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report without enclosure be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
