Hafiz Ali ...... for the petitioner Ms. Z N Khan Mr. Ashok Das ...... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail and submits trial has commenced. He submits that further detention of the petitioner is not necessary.

Learned advocate for the State submits that out of 15 witnesses, 12 were examined. The next date fixed before the trial court is September 29, 2021.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. We, however, request the trial court in seisin of the proceeding to expedite the trial.
