The petitioner who is the de facto complainant of ACGR Case No.1404 of 2021 pending before the learned 6th Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24 Parganas seeks expeditious disposal of the proceeding, particularly, the Narazi Petition filed by him against the charge-sheet submitted before the Court.

It appears that the charge-sheet was submitted on 27th September, 2019 and the Narazi Petition was filed on 19th September, 2023. The petition was taken up for consideration by the learned Judicial Magistrate and hearing was concluded on 16th October, 2023 fixing 9th January, 2024 for order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no order has yet been passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate.

In view of the above, the application being CRR 2123 of 2024 is allowed directing the 6th Judicial Magistrate,

Alipore, South 24 Parganas to dispose of the Narazi Petition filed by the petitioner by passing an order thereto within one month from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
