Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. The police filed charge sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the mobile SIM card of the victim was recovered from the house of the petitioner. He refers to the seizure list. He submits that the petitioner is involved in the abduction and demand for ransom.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner and considering the fact that the SIM card of the victim was recovered from the house belonging to the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 3126 of 2022 is dismissed.
