The petitioner by the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is complaining inaction on the part of the learned Additional Rent Controller, at Barrackpore, District - 24 Parganas (North), in disposing the H.R. Case No. 155 of 2019. In view of Section 6 (b) of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997, the application is not maintainable before this Court. C.O. 1557 of 2021 is dismissed as not maintainable without any order as to costs.

This order however will not prevent the petitioner for seeking the same relief from the Tribunal. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
