Copy of the application produced by the petitioners is treated as original and kept on record. The statement of the private opposite party recorded by the State demonstrates that the private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further since the parties have arrived at a mutual settlement. The statement is in conformity with the Memorandum of Understanding filed by the parties jointly.

In view of the above, the proceedings in connection with ACGR No.1168 of 2022 arising out of Jadavpur P.S. Case No.62 of 2022 dated 21st March, 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas be quashed.

The applications being CRR 2116 of 2024 along with CRAN 1 of 2024 are accordingly disposed of.
