The petitioner complains that though he was superannuated on 31st December, 2013, the gratuity amount due to him has not been paid by the employer till date.

By consent of the parties, it is submitted that the entire gratuity amount along with five per cent compound interest per annum thereon shall be paid to the petitioner by the 4th respondent in five equal installments, first installment commencing from 5th of January, 2022. The subsequent installments shall be payable on the 5th day of each succeeding month. In view of the above, WPA 13872 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
