Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that an incident occurred due to political rivalry. The petitioner is no way connected with the incident. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and the statements recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM 5873 of 2021 is, accordingly, dismissed.
