None appears for the private opposite party despite service.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears from the report that the private opposite party /de facto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further on account of mutual settlement of the dispute between the parties. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that proceeding with the present matter further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 2120 of 2024 is allowed.

The proceeding arising out of FIR No.492 of 2023 dated 14th August, 2023 is quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and be discharged from his bail bond.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
