1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner is stated to be the brother-in-law of the informant/victim.

3. It is fairly submitted at the Bar that the injury sustained by the victim is simple in nature.

4. Investigation is stated to have progressed substantially.

5. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, nature of injury sustained by the victim and substantial progress in the investigation, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia, in Connection with Ranaghat Women Police Station Case No. 66 of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.
