Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the de-facto complainant was residing at her paternal house where the alleged incident occurred. He submits that, the disputes were settled by way of mediation. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary including the injury report of the de-facto complainant and her statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

Considering the injury report of the victim and her 161 Cr.P.C. statement, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 3134 of 2022 is dismissed.
