Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

Taking into consideration the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which finds corroboration from the complaint petition and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion in favour of the petitioner under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. 4.

CRM (A) 2264 of 2023 is dismissed.
