Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners be kept with the record.

Petitioners submit that there has been interference at the behest of the private respondent nos. 4 to 6 at the time of cultivation and harvesting of his own land. To that effect, information was furnished. However, the police authorities did not respondent to the same and, as such, consequences are faced by the petitioners.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there has been a dispute over the land since the year 2016. Police authorities as and when complained of, did draw up proceedings. Last of such proceeding was drawn up on 30th June, 2025 under Section 351(2) of the BNS.

Having considered that the police authorities have complete knowledge regarding the dispute amongst the petitioners and the private respondents, I am of the view that the police authorities would oversee that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13308 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
