The petitioner has filed a matrimonial suit being Matrimonial Suit No.69 of 2016 for dissolution of his marriage with the opposite party by a decree of divorce. The said suit is pending before the 5th Court of the learned Additional District Judge at Barasat, District : 24-Parganas (North). The petitioner is praying a direction for expeditious disposal of the said suit. It appears from record that the suit has reached to the stage of argument, at this stage, the direction as prayed for, is not necessary.

It is expected that the learned Trial Judge shall bring the suit to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time, and in doing so, shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O. 1877 of 2024 is disposed of with the above observations without any order as to costs.
