Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the mother of the victim deceased and the de facto complainant of the case. She filed Monteswar P.S. Case No. 132 of 2023 under Sections 306, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. A friend of the petitioner's daughter had committed suicide earlier. She was having an affair with an individual. The accused in this case blamed the petitioner's daughter for the said suicide and abetted the suicide of the petitioner's daughter. These allegations were not properly investigated by the Investigating Agency.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State denies any police action and submits as follows. A thorough investigation has been done in this case. A suicide note was obtained and was sent for handwriting match before the QDEB, CID West Bengal. After the expert's report was received on 31.5.2023, a charge sheet has been submitted. Several witnesses were examined under Section 161 of the Code. A C.D.R. analysis was done of relevant phone numbers. After a full-fledged investigation, a charge sheet has been submitted.

It appears that a charge sheet has already been submitted in this case. It also appears from the report that some effective steps had been taken during investigation.

If the petitioner is still aggrieved with the outcome of investigation, she shall be at liberty to file a protest petition before the learned Trial Court.

Therefore, no further order need be passed at this stage. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon completion of requisite formalities.
