The petitioner alleges non-compliance of the direction passed in the order dated 7th November, 2019 in W.P. No. 12302(W) of 2019 (Nikhil Chandra Mahato- vs - The State of West Bengal & Ors.).

It appears from record that pursuant to the order passed by the Court the District Magistrate, Purulia conducted the hearing and passed a reasoned order on 16th June, 2020.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the way as to how the matter has been dealt with by the District Magistrate, Purulia.

I am afraid that the same cannot be decided by this Court sitting in contempt jurisdiction. It appears that the order passed by the Court has been substantially complied with by the District Magistrate, Purulia. In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant contempt application.

CPAN 450 of 2020 stands dismissed.

Dismissal of the contempt application, however, will not stand in the way of the petitioner from challenging the order passed by the District Magistrate, Purulia on 16th June, 2020, in accordance with law, if he is so advised. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
