1. This contempt application is misconceived as in paragraph 6 we have made it clear that if there is any direction in the judgement of the learned Single Judge for payment of basic wages or minimum wages to the appellant it may continue and the present petitioners may accept such amount without prejudice to the rights and contentions. In the judgement under appeal there was no positive direction that the college authority should pay the basic wages or minimum wages.

2. It is however stated in paragraph 15 of the impugned order that the college should consider taking necessary steps to improve the service condition of the petitioners / appellants by providing security of tenure, proper

emoluments and terminal benefits in the light of the Circular no. 3998-F(P2) dt. 15/7/2019.

3. In the event the direction in paragraph 15 has not been complied with by the college authorities or there has been no consideration at all, it is needless to mention that it would be open for the present appellants to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

4. The contempt application is disposed of.
