By the instant writ petition, the petitioner is attempting to raise an election dispute in respect of the election of Board of Directors of the respondent no.8 held on 7th May 2025. Although, the petitioner claims to have raised an election dispute before the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Dakshin Dinajpur, Office of Cooperation Directorate on 14th May 2025, the same in my view does not constitute an election dispute within the meaning of West Bengal Cooperative Election Commission Regulation, 2012.

Be that as it may, since the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had bona fide approached the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Dakshin Dinajpur and leave should be granted to the petitioner to approach the Cooperative Election Commission and noting the submissions of the learned advocate appearing for the respective parties, I am of the view that in the event the petitioner files a proper dispute

case by raising an election dispute with the Cooperative Election Commission within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order , the appropriate authority shall hear out and dispose of the dispute in accordance with law. 4.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from this Court's official website.
