The court does not find any reason to entertain this application for transfer of Matrimonial Suit No. 1 of 2023 from the court of the learned Additional District Judge, 2nd Court Serampore, Hooghly to the court of learned District Judge at Howrah.

The distance between Serampore to Howrah is around 40 kms. There are several modes of communication which are comparatively easy and convenient. The only fact that the petitioner lives with her 9 years old child cannot be a reason for transferring the suit.

The petitioner has not been able to impress the court with regard to any cogent ground for seeking such transfer. Moreover, the petitioner will not suffer any hardship if she is required to contest the matrimonial suit in Serampore.

The revisional application is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
