The petitioner of the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has filed O.A No. 02 of 2021 before the Waqf Tribunal, West Bengal.

The petitioner is praying a direction upon the said Tribunal for expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

The Courts are coming into normal functioning slowly during this period of COVIDpandemic, at this stage, particularly considering that the connected proceeding was filed only in this year, the direction as prayed for is not warranted.

However, when the record discloses that the said proceeding is ready for hearing, the learned Waqf Tribunal is requested to bring the said proceeding to its logical conclusion within a

reasonable time without granting any unnecessary adjournment of either of the parties.

C.O. 1577 of 2021 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
