The petitioner seeks higher scale of pay on account of enhancing her educational qualification.

It appears that the application of the petitioner was forwarded by the school to the District Inspector Schools (SE), Kolkata way back in December 2014. The petitioner claims that there is no response of the same.

As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner has been pending consideration at the end of the DI of Schools for a considerable period of time, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the DI of Schools (SE), Kolkata to consider the petitioner's prayer for higher scale of pay forwarded by the school authority in accordance with law and the prevailing guidelines at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the petitioner is found eligible to receive the

higher scale of pay, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken immediately thereafter.

The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to her.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
