The petitioner seeks higher scale of pay on account of enhancing her educational qualification.

It appears that the application of the petitioner was forwarded by the Additional District Inspector Schools (SE), Uluberia, Howrah way back in April 2016 to the Commissioner of School Education. 3.

The petitioner claims that there is no response of the same. A notice demanding justice by the learned advocate for the petitioner was forwarded to the DI of Schools (SE), Howrah in January 2024. The same has also not been answered till date.

Without going into the merits of the application of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the DI of Schools (SE), Howrah to consider the said application in accordance with law and the prevailing Rules at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

An opportunity of hearing be given to the petitioner for production of documents in support of her prayer. A reasoned order shall be passed

and communicated to the petitioner forthwith. 6.

If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
