The petitioner claims that she is eligible to receive 'A' category scale of pay.

The Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Purulia forwarded a request for necessary instruction to the Commissioner of School Education by a communicating memo dated February 20, 2019 for awarding 'A' category scale of pay in favour of the petitioner. The decision is yet to be taken.

The petitioner gave several reminders to the Commissioner of School Education with her request for grant of 'A' category scale of pay. None of the representations have been considered till date.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Commissioner of School Education to take a decision with regard to the prayer of the petitioner for grant of 'A' category scale of pay in her favour, in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of her representation dated July 14, 2021 along with all documents in support of her prayer for grant of 'A' category scale of pay to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
