Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

None appears for the respondents despite service. Mr. Pantu Deb Roy alongwith a junior of his choice, who usually appear for the State and are present in Court, are requested to represent the State in the matter. The appointment of Mr. Roy alongwith Mr. Pannalal Bandyopadhyay be regularized by the office of the learned Legal Remembrancer.

The petitioner should serve copy of the writ petition alongwith all annexures thereto to Mr. Roy in course of this day.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner prays for implementation of the resolution taken by the RTA Board in its meeting held on 27th March, 2023. The resolution taken by the Board is set out:

"The Extension portion is 3.4 km (Approax) and the curtailment portion is 3 km (Approax). The total variation is 6.4 km (Appraox). Hence The above extension and curtailment is hereby

allowed sub to submission of clash free time table."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he has submitted a clash free timetable before the authority, no further step has been taken by the authority for approval of the same.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the 4th respondent be directed to consider the timetable submitted by the petitioner in terms of the resolution dated 27th March, 2023.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the timetable submitted by the petitioner in terms of resolution taken by the RTA Board on 27th March, 2023 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter. With the above observations and directions the writ petition being WPA 13409 of 2023 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
