Mr. Subhashis Dasgupta .for the petitioners Mr. Vimal Kumar Shahi Mr. Swapan Kumar Debnath ..for Kolkata Municipal Corporation Mr. Sirsanya Bandopadhyay Mr. Debangshu Dinda ..for the State The petitioners have challenged the demolition proceedings concerning premises no. 135/H/2/2, Keshab Chandra Sen Street, Ward No. 038, Borough IV, and premises no. 170/H/47, Keshab Chandra Sen Street, Ward No. 037, Borough V, under the jurisdiction of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The Corporation submits that the said demolition proceedings have been initiated pursuant to the order dated May 22, 2025, passed in WPO (P) 1 of 2024 (Sk. Mahbub Hossain vs. The State of West Bengal and Others).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients were not parties to the aforementioned proceedings and, therefore, have approached this Court

by way of the present writ petition to challenge the demolition action.

This Court, however, is unable to pass any order that would be inconsistent with or contrary to the directions issued by the Division Bench by the order dated May 22, 2025.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is not entertained.

It is clarified, however, that this shall not preclude the petitioners from filing an appropriate application in connection with WPO (P) 1 of 2024.

Accordingly, WPA 13195 of 2025 is dismissed.
