Petitioner is apprehensive that her husband may be faced with serious consequences in case he enters his residence as the private respondents are attacking him.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the police authorities are ready and willing to provide necessary assistance as and when called for in case the petitioner's husband resides at the address referred to in the cause title. The report also encloses the communication made by Sub-Inspector of Police of Bakultala Police Station addressed to Krishnakanta Mondal which has been received by his son. The communication of the police authorities categorically

reflects that the police is ready to provide assistance in case the said Krishnakanta Mondal suspects that certain local people may create obstruction or threat while he enters his house.

In view of the police authorities offering to render their assistance, I direct that the petitioner would report to the Officer-in-Charge, Bakultala Police Station. The officer would, if he deems fit and proper, provide a police personnel for escort at the time of entry. For a period of 30 days, each and every alternate day, the Officer-in-Charge will depute a police personnel who would take information from the residence of the petitioner as to whether there is any untoward incident or there is possibility of any untoward incident. In case of any exigency, police authorities would take step in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13286 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
