The affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.
2. The petitioner has filed the present writ application with the prayer for a direction upon the SIR Appellate Tribunal for disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner being Appeal No. APS2507G020426260727 dated April 2, 2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the admission of the petitioner to the Ph.D. programme in physics at IIT, Kanpur for the session 2026-2027 is held up due to the striking of his name from the voter list and he prays for a direction upon the Appellate Tribunal for disposal of the appeal as early as possible so as to enable the petitioner to get his admission in the Ph.D. programme in physics at IIT, Kanpur as early as possible.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties.
5. This Court finds that the appeal preferred by the petitioner is required to be adjudicated as early as possible as the
admission of the petitioner in the Ph.D. programme in physics at IIT, Kanpur is pending due to pendency of SIR appeal.
6. In view of the above, the Appellate Tribunal is requested to consider the case of the petitioner as early as possible preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order.
7. WPA 13730 of 2026 is disposed of.
8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
