Despite service of notice, private respondents are not represented. Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record.

The writ petitioner is aggrieved that Ramnagar Police Station, Purba Medinipore has not taken steps to implement the order of the status quo passed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Contai in T. S. No. 269 of 2021.

Despite the order of status quo, the private respondents are effecting pakka construction on the property. The Ramnagar Police Station has confirmed that construction has been going on in violation of the status quo order.

It is, therefore, ordered that Ramnagar Police Station shall forthwith intervene and stop any construction on the said premises. FIR No. 330 of 2021 has been registered on 14th September, 2021 by the police.

Let a detailed report be submitted on the conduct of the respondents on the suit property by the Ramnagar Police Station to the court below within a period of three weeks from date.

The O. C., Ramnagar Police Station shall enforce the order of status quo on the petitioner producing evidence of the subsistence of the order of the status quo as on date.

The O. C., Ramnagar Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and enforce any further orders that may be passed by the civil court strictly in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
