The petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerheads with regard to the title of a piece of land.

The private respondents are constructing a boundary wall, which the petitioner objects to. The disputes can only be resolved in a civil proceeding. The petitioner also lodged a complaint with the police against the private respondents as regards to his civil right which the police have no jurisdiction to enter into.

However it is ordered that Mandarmoni Coastal Police Station shall maintain a strict vigil in the locale and ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

The parties may agitate their civil differences before an appropriate civil forum.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
