Kutubuddin, ... for the State This is an application for expeditious hearing of the case bearing No. G.R. 669 of 2015 under Sections 498A/406/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore.

The petitioner before this Court is the husband of the opposite party no. 1, who is the de-facto complainant. It has been submitted by the petitioner, who appears in person, that after the cognizance was taken, the case was transferred to the 4th Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate at Barrackpore on January 13, 2020, but the charge hearing has not yet taken place.

Keeping in mind the innocuous nature of the prayer, this application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned

Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore, to make an endeavour to conclude the charge hearing within a period of three weeks from date.

Since this order will not prejudice the opposite party no. 1, the revisional application is disposed of without serving any notice to her.

The revisional application being C.R.R. 1778 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
