Chatterjee ..for the State The allegation of the petitioner is that while carrying out the construction of road under MGNREG Scheme at Mahisagote G.P. Contai, Purba Medinipur defalcation of funds has been done and the construction of road is also poor as low grade material has been used.
The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has already submitted the representation dated 01.02.2022, annexure " P-2" in this regard before the respondent no.5 i.e. District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur. Therefore, a direction be issued to the said respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and take immediate action. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the same.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing
the respondent no.5 to duly consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Let this exercise be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh copy of the representation along with the certified copy of this order before the respondent no.5. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
