Mr. Debdutta Basu ...for the petitioner The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the Mandir Bazar Police Station, Sundarban Police District in respect of a fraudulent registration of a document.

An FIR being Mandir Bazar Police Station Case No. 27/15 dated 15.01.2015 was registered by the Mandir Bazar Police Station. Investigation has been completed and charge sheet being Mandir Bazar PS Charge Sheet No. 268/15 dated 22.06.2015 under Sections 420/464/465/420B/511 of the IPC has been filed. The trial has commenced and the next date fixed on March 9, 2023 for evidence of the Investigating Officer and RO of one witness.

The petitioner may apply before the Trial Court for the forensic examination report to be produced in course of trial. The petitioner may also obtain a certified copy thereof for production in the civil proceeding.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The report of the Mandir Bazar Police Station, Sundarban Police District dated 01.03.2023 be kept with the record.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
