1. This is an application for modification of condition of bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 9th July, 2025 while granting bail, the petitioner was directed to furnish two sureties, one of whom must be a local. However, the petitioner is unable to arrange for such local surety. He seeks for modification of the condition of bail.

3. Learned Advocate for the State leaves the matter to the discretion of the Court.

4. In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner and the averments made in the application, the order granting bail to the petitioner dated 9th July, 2025 is modified to the extent that the petitioner, namely, Rakesh

Mondal @ Prashanta Mondal be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand), with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court at Lalbagh, Murshidabad.

5. The order dated 9th July, 2025 is modified to the above extent only.

6. The other portions of the order shall remain unaltered.

7. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
