Let the said photocopy of the application be taken on record. Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears from the record and is also submitted on behalf of the parties that the defacto complainant/ opposite party is not willing to proceed with the matter any further in view of the mutual settlement arrived at by and between the parties. In view of the above, allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise.
The criminal revision being CRR No. 2142 of 2024 is allowed.
The connected application being CRAN No. 2 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly.
The proceeding being C.G.R.Case No. 802 of 2024 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24 Parganas be quashed.
