Petitioner is working as a primary teacher from 12th October, 2001.

Petitioner completed Teachers' Training Course for the session 2005-2006 and result was published in 2011. Grievance of the petitioner is after publication of result concerned respondent authorities till date have not sanctioned A category scale of pay in his favour. It is also submitted similarly circumstanced primary teachers after publication of result of Teachers' Training course in 2011 are enjoying A category scale of pay. Respondents are represented by learned Advocates.

It is settled position as on date that a teacher upon completing Teachers' Training course after publication of result is entitled to receive higher scale of pay atleast from the date of publication of result. In the present case result was published on 14th July, 2011 as it appears from a document at Page 21 of the writ petition.

In view of the aforesaid scenario concerned respondent authorities are directed to sanction A category scale of pay in favour of the petitioner from the date of publication of result within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Petitioner is also entitled to receive arrear benefits on sanctioning A category scale of pay as directed above.

Writ petition stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
