1. Parties are represented.

2. Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the Howrah Municipal Corporation has handed over to Court an action taken report against the alleged unauthorized construction of the petitioner dated February 18, 2026 and the same is taken on record.

3. It has been submitted that since there is change in office, no hearing could be given as yet as per direction of the Court dated May 28, 2024.

4. Mr. Banerjee, has sought for four weeks time for compliance of the Court's order. However,

it has been mentioned that inspection has revealed unauthorized nature of construction of the petitioner and most likely the alleged contemnor upon hearing as per the Court's order is going to issue an order of demolition.

5. Pursuant to the prayer made by the alleged contemnor for extension of time, let this matter be adjourned today and be listed after four weeks (27.03.2026).

6. In the meantime let the alleged contemnor comply with the Court's order dated May 28, 2024 and file the compliance report on the next date of hearing.
