The petitioner has intimated his learned advocate that he does not wish to proceed with the writ petition any further, in view of the amicable settlement entered into between the parties.

The petitioner has affirmed an affidavit before the Court of the learned Executive Magistrate, 1st Class, Barasat on August 7, 2020 disclosing his intention to withdraw the writ petition. The said affidavit is annexed with the application filed by the petitioner being CAN 3 of 2020.

In view of such submission WPA No. 12585 of 2018 along with the connected applications stand dismissed as 'not pressed'.
