in a disciplinary proceeding. Briefly, the petitioner has allegedly misappropriated public funds amounting to approximately Rs.2 crores.

Thereafter, in disciplinary proceedings which had been initiated in the final order dated December 16, 2022 has been passed which is impugned in this petition.

Being aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal, which is still pending. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner only seeks early disposal of the above appeal.

On behalf of the respondent bank, it is submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner is

not in accordance with law and the object of this petition is to circumvent the law.

In view of the pendency of the appeal, there is no scope of passing any order in this writ petition. The order dated December 16, 2022 has been impugned and the appeal is pending and is yet to be disposed of. It is obvious that the petitioner has filed this writ petition for collateral and oblique purposes.

In such circumstances, W.P.A. No. 13489 of 2023 stands dismissed.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to take necessary steps in accordance with law, if so advised.
