The petitioner submits that he has been falsely implicated.

Learned counsel for the State and the defacto complainant oppose the prayer.

Statement of eye witnesses recorded under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 implicate the petitioner in the alleged offence. Charges have been framed and witness action shall commence shortly. Progress in trial is fairly satisfactory. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The bail application is disposed of.
