1. The petitioner is the uncle-in-law of the victim.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner resides at a different address and he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

3. Learned counsel for the State in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail has referred to the statement of the neighbours recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C to show that the victim is subjected to severe torture by the family members of the husband of the victim which includes the name of the present petitioner. It is further submitted that the victim died within one year and eight months of marriage.

4. Considering the materials available in the case diary and the nature of involvement of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the fact that the statement of the neighbours recorded

under Section 161 Cr.P.C, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the same is accordingly disposed of.
