Gupta, Sr. Advocate Mr. Subir Sanyal Mr. Ratul Biswas ... for the Contemnor In this contempt application on the basis of the commitment made on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education through their learned Senior Counsel Mr. Gupta submitting that six marks would be given to the candidates, if not already given, and the petitioner would be given appointment against any vacancy.

I hold that such steps can be taken by the Board for giving appointment in any vacancy and for giving six marks to the persons, if not already given. The entire exercise is to be completed within a period of three weeks from date.

The matter will appear in the list on 7th October, 2021 for a report to be filed by the petitioner as to the steps taken by the Board.

This order will be applicable in respect of the petitioners/applicants who have not already got appointment as primary teachers.
