The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the Sessions Case no. 39 of 2015 pending before the learned Judge, Special (CBI) Court No. 1, Calcutta. Charge sheet was submitted in the case on 28th April, 2015 and charge was framed on 28th August, 2015. Out of sixteen charge sheeted witnesses, five witnesses have been examined in full and charge sheeted witnesses no. 6, 7 and 8 have been examined in chief. Crossexamination of CSW 6 is in progress. As the matter is pending since long, the revisional application is disposed of directing the learned Judge, Special (CBI) Court No. 1, Calcutta to dispose of the matter within 18 months from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
